Good news to share on The Daily Couture: my short documentary film is part of the Official Selection at the International Film Festival about Master Craftsmanship taking place in France on April 7-10. The film also competes for the “Prix des Ecoles” (Prize awarded by students). I am particularly happy about it as the aim was not only about celebrating the beauty of crafts and talent of craftspeople but also to make the public know about ancestral techniques that are still used nowadays in the making of haute couture.
The screening is planned on April 10th at 2:20pm at the brand new art movie theater Le Méliès in Montreuil. Invitations can’t unfortunately be sent to our Daily Couture readers…
